The Story of a Miser man - Moral Story

There was once a rich man living in a village. He was a miser and won't help anyone. He spent all his wealth and bought golden blocks. He buried it in a pit nearby his home. He would dig the pit daily, see the gold and become happy.

One night the golden blocks were stolen by a thief. The next day, when the miser dug the pit, he could not find the gold. He burst into tears.

On seeing this, a good friend of his said "You can better bury a stone in the pit and see it everyday. How will it make the difference to you? You have never spent your money when it was there."

MORAL: Misery is a cheap virtue.
